Always Inspect The Home You’re Buying

What comes first; the chicken or the egg? In the world of real estate, inspections usually come after an offer is made. But right now, in Seattle and many other seller’s markets, pre-inspections are becoming more and more common.

Getting the pre-inspection is a win-win for you and seller: you’ll be confident the home is truly the one you want without any major issues, and once you make the offer, the seller knows your offer isn’t contingent on the outcome of an inspection.

Just because several (or maybe dozens) of other buyers have inspected the home you want, don’t assume you should waive the inspection!
